Education

Jade holds a Master’s degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Jade strongly believes in the importance of good quality teaching that encourages excellence and professionalism. She has extended her knowledge by taking many additional teaching qualifications, including the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music and Diploma of the Royal Schools of music. Completing both with distinction. She considers music a valuable subject that not only provides enjoyment but enriches the lives of those that participate in it.

Teaching

In 2004, she set up her own teaching practice. This practice was predominately for teaching the flute but later she introduced piano, clarinet and saxophone. This teaching practice rapidly grew with over eighty pupils that encompassed students from beginner up to conservatoire level.

Whilst studying at Birmingham Conservatoire Jade also joined the Birmingham Music Service. During her time here, she took part in the Birmingham Wider Opportunities scheme. This scheme provides music education to every child who goes to school in Birmingham, even providing instruments! This inspiring scheme helped ensure that high quality music education was available to all children.

Whilst studying at Trinity Jade became particularly interested in the importance of music education for the very young. She completed her major dissertation on this particular field. Jade developed this further by teaching children from three months to four years old. She worked within the renowned business, Monkey Music, as one of their teachers. During her time here she became an ambassador for best practice and has been responsible for training teachers in this field. Later Jade was able to write a curriculum for the company Wizard Music. Jade co-founded this company which provides music education to children in nurseries.

Jade then spent four years teaching in Dubai, United Arab Emirates working at many private international schools, including Dubai College, Nord Anglia International School (in association with Juilliard), Dubai English Speaking School and Jumeriah English Speaking School.

Jade Bultitude now lives in Harpenden, United Kingdom.
