Merry Christmas everyone! Wow… what a year we have had! Christmas has definitely not been what everyone was expecting but I do hope you all managed to make the most of it. I am extremely grateful that I managed to fly from Dubai to London just before everything went into Tier 4, my two twin babies have not seen any family for a whole year so it meant absolutely everything to make it here… but it did mean I was not able to see my sister 🙁 ! I hope that we can see her very soon.

Did you manage to get any practice in?

I just wanted to drop on here though and see how you have all been doing this festive week? Did any of you manage to get some practice done?

I want to make a confession… my practice has definitely NOT been good this week and I would even go as far to say that the one and only time I picked up my flute I played a single christmas song and then it is has been sat on it’s stand for the entire week after that!

But you know what… that’s ok!! Sometimes you need to have a break. I know we are all watching Instagram videos of people practicing, reading blogs on how to keep your practice up over the holiday etc etc… but don’t forget you have to do what’s right for you! If you don’t have the energy to practice and you need a break then do it!! As long as you pick yourself back up after your break then you are good to go!

So… did you practice this holiday?!

A short little blog for you this week, Merry Christmas! Hope you are enjoying this lovely relaxing Boxing Day! Remember to check out my other blog posts here!

See you next week!
